The Ted Williams Museum contacted Advance to produce a wall exhibit at the Skywalk Observatory in the Prudential Tower in Boston. We produced the exhibit using LightJet photographic prints with a UV texture laminate mounted to 1/2", 3/4" and 1" thick Sintra PVC boards. Ted, at bat, was produced by scanning an 8"x10" b&w photographic print to a life-size proportion, producing a lightjet photographic print of the scan, laminating and mounting the print to 3/4" Sintra board and last, producing a CNC router sillouette cut-out of Ted at bat. The exhibit faces a wall of windows that overlook Fenway Park. It was truly an honor producing this exhibit.
